ART in India
Art flourished during the Gupta Dynasty, and is called the Golden Age. Indian art, literature, math, philosophy and science all grew, especially under Chandragupt II. Many Hindu temples were also built.
Copper and bronze were used to make tools, mirrors and pots. They used bone, shell and ivory to make ornament. Gold and silver were also used to create as was stoneware and earthenware. |
